Neon Museum Las Vegas Nevada – Retirement of Yesteryear’s Bright Lights

Vegas was amazing!  The place is just something you have to experience for yourself, show girls and Elvis’es around every corner, with tourists holding long drinks in the sweltering heat and music playing everywhere.

In Vegas, everyone is living and partying like Rock Stars, there’s limo’s everywhere you look and a party within arm’s reach.  We had so much fun!

Towards the end of our trip we spent a day at the Neon and Mob Museums in downtown Las Vegas.

We made it through the sweltering heat, walking through the organised scrap yard, or bone yard as the Yanks call it, looking at the casino signage attracting the people of yesteryear, now retired in this collection.  A definite must!

Tip: Las Vegas is not a play play desert, it REALLY gets hot so try not to do the Neon Museum (or anything outside really) during the middle of the day.

Here’s more info on the Neon Museum, and the first batch of my photos, more to follow soon.
